Appearance: Lord Cutler Beckett is an English gentleman, in spite of his few height he possesses an elegant and thin figure, but under these gentleman's clothes, his arms and his legs are muscular. He dresses with the best suits, has his personal tailor who has brought it from London to Port Royale.
His eyes are big and blue, pale and colds, very expressive that with only a look it can express what he feels in these moments.
As his lips, Cutler Beckett possesses a few attractive, thick and insinuating lips and they have been and keep on being the desire of the Port Royale´s ladies as some ladies of London have wished them. It grew receiving the best education, went to the best London´s school and turned into a gentleman who did not had conscience, who did not had humanity, if it had to destroy a life for your own benefit it would do it without doubting. To seduce glamorous and beautiful ladies to stain his honor, bets, duels....
Thanks to the position of his father, Cutler Beckett little by little was rising of category and very soon for decision of the England King it gave him a position in the EITC, being exhibited for the first time in the world of the piracy. And little by little Cutler Beckett obtained the respect of all what they were around him.
His plans to obtain the expansion of East Indian Trading Company very prompt come to the ears of the King who liked it enormously and granted him a mission that was hoping that it should fulfill it, but was not like that.
Beckett oversaw operations conducted by East India Trading Company member Jack Sparrow, who carried out a number of assignments aboard his merchant vessel, the Wicked Wench. However, when Sparrow refused to transport slaves from Africa to the Caribbean, Beckett ordered Sparrow's ship destroyed and Sparrow himself imprisoned.
Beckett's men set the Wench aflame and captured Sparrow. Beckett himself branded Jack as a pirate burning a "P" symbol onto his right forearm and had him incarcerated. Jack ultimately escaped, and at some point left his own mark on Beckett.
Some time during his career with the East India Trading Company, Cutler Beckett had been both knighted and made a lord. By this time he has rose through the ranks of the Company and was made Governor of the Company by the Court of Directors. Lord Beckett quickly made use of his newfound power and status to act on his long-standing prejudice against pirates; and in order to remove piracy from the world forever, he knew, required the finding of the Dead Man's Chest.
Approximately a year after the incident at Isla de Muerta, Lord Beckett, arrived at Port Royal aboard the HMS Endeavor, bearing arrest warrants for William Turner, Elizabeth Swann and former Commodore James Norrington, all of whom had been implicit in the escape of Jack Sparrow from his execution at Fort Charles. Norrington had resigned his commission, after his failed attempt to capture Sparrow, but Beckett was able to have Elizabeth and William arrested.
