It was a hot, blistering summer night and the local Lady Charlotte Worthingham had decided to have a Ball. Helena Sparrow, despite her lack of love for Port Royal society, could not resist the urge to attend. She had shopped for a dress for days and had finally found it.
She stood before her mirror now, looking at herself in said dress. It a deep red dress, strapless as was her style, so it showed off her tanned, thin shoulders. A thick, silver and red bracelet was around her wrist, hiding the P branded into her skin. Her hair was done up elegantly, with a few pieces falling into her face. Beautiful, elegant, she did look lovely.
She sat on her bed, hiking up the skirt and grabbing a pair of black, leather, heeled boots and tying them. Grabbing a dagger, she slipped it into the back of the garter on her right leg. She stood, straightening her skirts once more and putting on the rest of her jewelry. She observed herself in the mirror before approving herself.
She walked out the front of the manor to where a carriage was waiting for her. With the assistance of a made, she slipped into the carriage and they set off.
Usually, you could not pay Helena to attend a function like this, but rumors of the attendance of Lord Cutler Beckett had sparked her interest. When she arrived before the manor, she slipped out and made her way in with elegance and grace before immediately being swept into a conversation. She talked fluently, flashing her eyes flirtatiously and grinning, but keeping her eyes on the door for people she recognized.

Taylin wandered in. She had no particular special fineries on. She kept her sword close at hand but she was dressed in a fine dress. (with red hair) She raised her head. But she had no proper date so she simply sat blankly on a fancy metal chair to wait for a passerby

Elizabeth seemed to appear from nowhere, smoothing out the folds of her dress. Even a Pirate King could attend a ball once in a while. She hadn't been to one in ages, but this one she wanted to go to, dressed in one of her mother's old gowns. Lizzie's Dress

Taylin sighed. What was the point of parties? It always turned out to be such a bore becaus she was always alone. She leaned back, noticing that the "P" on her wrist was showing. Astonished, she she shoved armbands embroidered with Amethyst on both wrists
